Enactus to me is not a society but a family. A family that has helped me to come out of my shell and be a better person. For me Enactus was destined to happen, it was though someone pulled me towards it. This platform with the ultimate aim of social entrepreneurship not just helps in uplifting the underprivileged but also the students like us by instilling in them a sense of giving, humanity and care. My motto for the year is to grow and to help others grow in every possible aspect.

Enactus, It’s been almost over a year since I have been its part And ever since I have been glad of the work we have done so far It’s something different and more than just a college society, it feels more like a family In the rush of college life, somehow it gives a sense of forward momentum And knowing that somewhere somehow we are contributing towards a better life, that feeling in itself is simply amazing

Enactus, the first society which I joined when I came to the college. I worked in the Research & Development department. The idea of Enactus which is social entrepreneurship allured me to work with this society in the best possible way and strive for the best. This society changed my mindset of looking at a particular problem and how one’s idea can improve the livelihood of many. I believe one can create a difference if he/she is willing to do so.

Enactus- it's not just a college society in which people come and spend some time, it's a platform where one can only stay if he/she has the zeal to work for unprivileged ones. And that fire of working for others attracted me towards Enactus. So as a General Secretary of Enactus ADGITM my sole aim is to bring that fire on in other people too so that our world will be a better place to live on. If we all will try to make this planet a better place it will surely be, all it lacks the initiative from everyone.

Enactus transformed me from a non delhiite to a street-smart enactus member, and I feel this sums up my one year experience in the organisation. Enactus came into my life at a very right time in Delhi when all I needed was a like minded family to bond with, who could relate to me on an intellectual level. I went to forge friendships here which would last a lifetime. I was inducted into the R&D team last year and my growth doesn’t seem to cease. The Enactus community visits were a way for me to explore the city and Delhi darshan couldn’t have been better. I can now call myself a true blue Delhiite! My first major achievement was to be selected as the Campus Ambassador for Enactus India Fest, which gave me exposure to the various departments and their functioning within Enactus. I was selected to lead the R&D department this year. I firmly believe that Research and Development is the backbone of any organisation. A feasible project can only be a reality if it has a strong research backup. With an incredible team of almost a dozen members, I think we have the required human capital to brainstorm and come up with pathbreaking ideas.Happy researching!

Come August, I will be completing a year with Enactus. This organisation, has by far, been the best decision I made as a College Freshman. I was inducted into the Content Department last year. This one year has given me a potpourri of experiences and friendships for a lifetime. The learning curve here has been tremendous and it has led me to acquire skills which are actually useful in the “real world”. I was chosen to lead the Content team this year. With a strength of almost 10 great writers, the resource pool here is incredible. I envision to create a team that strives for creating engaging and enriching content. With the advent of social media, the focus now has shifted on how well a product is marketed. Marketing and content obviously share a symbiotic relationship. A great marketing strategy is useless without compelling and thought provoking content. We at Enactus ADGITM, strive to create that. Happy writing!

Enactus to me is hope. A hope of being and creating better. A purpose. Something that talks of an actual change, big or small. My One year journey with Enactus has been no short of an amazing ride, notwithstanding how fulfilling and rewarding it has been. It is incredible being surrounded by such a dynamic and innovative team that strives to give social entrepreneurship a new meaning. As the Operations Head, I look towards building a condusive environment to blossom visions into plans, and put plans to action. Strengthening ties with prospective communities to facilitate efficacious implementations And undoubtedly working with the amazingly dedicated group of people we have at Enactus ADGITM !

Before even coming to college, I had been fascinated with Enactus;the idea of social entrepreneurship.I am happy to be associated with Enactus now for nearly an year,it has given me so much and added these valuable experiences in my pocket.From being a member to project head to vice president,not only did I grow professionally but also enriched myself with valuable knowledge about life,teamwork,friendships.After joining Enactus I truly believe for change can only happen if we all are ready to change;be it ourselves or our environment.The youth needs something like Enactus which hones them into leaders with a kind heart.

I was inducted into the Creative Team in 2016. Being an engineering student, I don’t often get the opportunity to do something inventive and artistic. By creating posters and banners for all the Enactus’ events, I could satiate that thirst to paint and draw. This year, I was chosen to lead my Team. With the new batch of students coming in August, I envision to spawn a team which is imaginative, innovative and is always up with avant-garde ideas. It is said that a picture can say a thousand words. My team seeks to embody that phrase.
